Lawfer was on his way to London. His cart was loaded with his latest profits from a mountainous village in Wales, valuable pelts. He was in his early twenties, dressed in same clothes any commoner would wear, almost entirely unremarkable to look at. His skin was pale enough to make you think he was sickly, while his hair had gone a premature white. When ever Lawfer dealt with his customers it was always with a smile on his face, and a calm but optimistic demeanor. However the remarkable thing about Lawfer was his eyes. Lawfer’s eyes almost had an oriental origin to them; many times he had been mistaken for squinting.
